AS A SENIOR (2014-15): Wrapped up Irish career by competing at the ACC Championships … finished 15th in the 200 fly (1:59.82) and 22nd in the 400 IM (4:23.73) at ACC’s … opened year with a victory in the 200 fly (2:04.14) against Michigan State … finished second in the 200 fly (2:02.60) in a double dual against Pitt and Virginia Tech … won the 200 fly (2:02.54) in a dual win against Illinois … claimed spot in the “A” finals of the 400 IM at the Texas Invitational, placing eighth in 4:21.25 … won the 200 fly (2:03.68) in a double dual meet against Georgia Tech and South Carolina … placed second in the 200 fly (2:01.39) in a double dual against Michigan and Northwestern … earned a trio of second-place finishes at the Shamrock Invitational (400 medley relay, 400 IM & 200 fly) … won the 200 fly (2:03.24) and the 200 medley relay (1:45.47) in a dual meet against Cleveland State … best times included 4:54.57 in the 500 free (Texas), 10:41.60 in the 1,000 free (at Georgia Tech, vs. South Carolina), 55.44 in the 100 fly (Texas), 1:58.69 in the 200 fly (Texas), 2:10.34 in the 200 IM (Illinois) and 4:20.16 in the 400 IM (Texas) … the 400 IM time was also a team season best … participated in the Student-Athlete Advisory Counsel and the Rosenthal Leadership Academy … served as a tri-captain with teammates Allison Casareto and Courtney Whyte … was a two-time team captain throughout career (2013-14 & 2014-15) … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll … earned a monogram.

AS A JUNIOR (2013-14): Qualified for her second NCAA Championships in a row and competed in the 200 fly and 400 IM … finished 32nd in the 200 fly (1:57.93) and 45th in the 400 IM (4:17.16) … time in the 400 IM was a career best … broke own school record in the 200 fly (1:56.52) at the ACC Championships to finish fourth … also took 12th in the 400 IM (4:18.07) and tied for 21st in the 500 free (4:52.65) … notched NCAA B cuts in both NCAA events at ACCs … set a career-best mark in the 500 free at the Hawkeye Invitational (4:52.21) … was part of the 800 free relay team that finished first at the Shamrock Invitational, setting the pool record at Rolfs Aquatic Center with a time of 7:22.65 … notched a win in the 200 free in head-to-head action against Valparaiso … named a first team CSCAA Scholar All-American … selected a team tri-captain with Allison Casareto and Emma Reaney … placed on the all-ACC Academic Team and the ACC Academic Honor Roll … was a member of Notre Dame’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) … earned a monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13): Had breakout sophomore year in the fly while also swimming the distance free and IM events … qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 200 fly, finishing 30th in 1:58.33 … broke school record in event at the BIG EAST Championships (1:57.49) to place second and earn all-BIG EAST honors … also finished eighth in 400 IM and 12th in the 500 free at BIG EAST … qualified to swim at the 2013 Phillips 66 National Championships and World Championship Trials in the 200 fly but had to pull out of the meet due to a minor injury … set the Kansas Classic record in the 200 fly at the event (2:03.82) … competed with the 800 free relay team that brought home first at the Dennis Stark Relays (7:42.44) … secured the silver in the 500 free against both Pittsburgh (5:01.82) and Toledo (5:03.29) … earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12): Versatile swimmer saw action in a plethora of events, excelling in the distance freestyle events, both distances of butterfly, and the distance IM … garnered all-BIG EAST honors, a season-best time and an NCAA B-cut in the 200 fly (1:59.22) placing fourth … gained fifth-place points in the 400 IM, recording a best time in prelims of 4:21.45 … also competed individually at the BIG EAST Championships in the 500 free … posted season-best times in the 500 free (4:55.02) and 100 fly (56.46) at the Ohio State Invitational … took third place while recording a season-best and team-best time of 10:17.19 in the 1,000 free against Auburn … won gold in the same meet swimming the 200 fly … took first in the 500 free in dual meet action against Michigan State … swam the 200 fly at the U.S. Olympic Trials, finishing 48th at the long course meet … earned a monogram.

HIGH SCHOOL & PERSONAL: Graduated from Germantown High School (Pa.) in the spring of 2011 … lettered four times in swimming … earned All-America accolades all four years … named to the 2011-12 USA Swimming National Junior Team in the 200 fly after placing fifth among 18-under women’s swimmers in the event at the Conoco Phillips National Championships … helped team to undefeated senior year and state championship as a senior … 200 medley relay team broke school record … was a Patriot Ambassador for high school … named to honor roll throughout high school … born to Don and Ann Casey in Abington, Pennsylvania … has two older sisters, Meghan and Katie … sister, Katie, was the former 200 fly school record holder before Bridget broke it … father, Don, and both sisters, Meghan and Katie, graduated from Notre Dame … all three, along with uncle, Brian, competed for the Notre Dame swimming and diving program … uncle, Brian, is the president of DePauw University in Indiana … Don, Brian and Katie all served as team captains at Notre Dame … graduated from the Mendoza College of Business with a degree in marketing … finished with a 3.186 GPA.
