Official Notre Dame Football Postgame Radio Show To Start Saturday

Sept. 2, 2003

The first edition of the Official Notre Dame Football Postgame Radio Show, presented by Taco Bell, will be broadcast live on Saturday, Sept. 6, following the Notre Dame-Washington State football game.

The 90-minute show, to be aired on U93 (92.9 FM) in South Bend, will be hosted by Jack Nolan, former Notre Dame football captain and former NFL standout Larry Williams and U93 sports director Sean Stires. The show also can be heard live via the audio-video package available through www.und.com. The show airs immediately following the conclusion of Westwood One’s game broadcasts of Irish football games.

For 2003 home games, the show comes live from a set just outside of Gate 3 of the Joyce Center on the University of Notre Dame campus, just across Juniper Road from Notre Dame Stadium. For road games, the shows come from the Sports Page (50827 Princess Way) in Granger.

Each home game show features live feeds from the Notre Dame Stadium postgame interview room (Tyrone Willingham’s remarks will be carried live), interviews with Notre Dame players – and often a live, on-site appearance by a Notre Dame assistant coach (via telephone for road contests).

Produced by Notre Dame Sports Properties, the show is a cooperative venture between NDSP, the Notre Dame Athletic Department, plus U93 and its parent company, Artistic Media Partners.
