NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame hockey team will host a best-of-three Hockey East playoff series against Massachusetts, March 6-8, at the Compton Family Ice Arena. Game times will be 7:35 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 and, if necessary, 7:05 p.m. on Sunday, March 8.
Tickets will go on sale Monday morning and will be available for purchase online at UND.com/BuyTickets, by phone by calling 574-631-7356, or in person at the Murnane Family Ticket Office in the front lobby of Purcell Pavilion during regular business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.).
The winner of the best-of-three series between the Irish and the Minutemen will advance to the league’s quarterfinals, another best-of-three series to be played on an opponent’s home ice. If Notre Dame advances, it would face UMass Lowell.
In addition to this March 6-8 Hockey East first round series, Notre Dame is also the host school for the Midwest regional of the 2015 NCAA Championship, March 28-29 at the Compton Family Ice Arena.
