Season tickets for the 2010-11 hockey schedule go on sale, Wednesday, Aug. 4.  The Irish sold out 14 of their 18 home games in 2009-10.

Notre Dame - Miami Hockey Series On Comcast South Bend

Notre Dame, Ind. – The 15th-ranked Notre Dame hockey team travels to Oxford, Ohio this weekend to fact the No. 1 ranked Miami RedHawks in a pair of big CCHA contests on Friday-Saturday, Dec. 4-5 at Steve Cady Arena.

The Ohio News Network (ONN) will televise both games of the series with the broadcasts picked up by Comcast Television in Michigan. They will be carried locally in South Bend on Comcast Cable channel three. Friday night’s game begins at 7:35 p.m. with Saturday’s face off set for 7:05 p.m.

This is the first of four games that Comcast Cable in South Bend will carry on the local access channel three. The Dec. 11 game at Michigan and the Dec. 13 game at home against Michigan also are scheduled to be carried by Comcast. The Dec. 11 game from Ann Arbor is a 7:35 p.m. game while the Sunday, Dec. 13 game from the Joyce Center is a 4:05 p.m. contest.

Notre Dame goes into this weekend versus Miami with a 7-5-4 overall record and a 4-2-4-2 mark in the CCHA, good for 18 points. Miami is 9-2-5 overall and 6-1-3-1 for 22 points in conference play. The RedHawks are in first place in the CCHA, two points ahead of second-place Michigan State and four ahead of the fourth-place Irish.
