ROCHESTER, Mich. – Competing for the second time in the last two days, the Notre Dame men’s swimming and diving team dropped a 161.5-137.5 decision at Oakland on Saturday. With the loss at the OU Aquatic Center, the Irish (3-6) have now dropped three consecutive dual meets heading into next week’s Shamrock Invitational at the Rolfs Aquatic Center.

200 Medley Relay: A few Irish lineup shifts on the day became evident in the meet’s first race … Bill Bauman, Marshall Sherman, Patrick Augustyn and David Anderson teamed for the bronze in 1:35.97 … Jeff Wood, Joseph Raycroft, Colin Francesco and Danny Lutkus (1:38.38) were fourth.

1,000 Free: Michael Sullivan (9:36.29) and MacKenzie LeBlanc (9:42.90) were first and second, respectively … B.J. Roth touched sixth in 10:29.65.

200 Free: John Lytle tacked on a win to his resume in 1:40.91 … next for the Irish was Steven Brus (1:43.64), who was fourth.

100 Back: Bauman (51.91) was Notre Dame’s highest finisher … he was third, and Christopher Wills (53.18) was fourth.

100 Breast: Behind four Grizzlies, Joseph Raycroft (1:00.62), Daniel Rave (1:00.96), Marshall Sherman (1:02.20) and Brian Maloy (1:03.74) placed for the Irish.

200 Fly: Patrick Augustyn sped through in 1:56.13 … Brus took fifth with a 1:57.23.

50 Free: Lytle placed third in 21.35 … Thomas Van Volkenburg (22.01) was behind Lytle, and he was trailed by Andrew Hoffman (22.02).

1-meter Diving: Caleb Dunnichay (320.40) scored first-place points for the visitors … he was followed in the standings by Wesley Villaflor (314.32), Michael Bulfin (311.32) and Nathan Geary (280.87).

100 Free: Lytle came through in first with a 45.93 after a 50-yard 22.37 … Hoffman was fifth overall in 47.46.

200 Back: Sullivan (1:52.25) was third and Joshua Nosal (1:55.46) was fifth … Jeff Wood (1:58.11) placed sixth.

200 Breast: A pair of Irish swimmers took the first two spots, with Rave (2:07.59) and Raycroft (2:10.67) topping the group.

500 Free: Brus (4:39.24) was nearly five seconds ahead of second-place swimmer Andrew Deters (4:44.23) … Ryan Belecanech (4:47.26) was third.

100 Fly: In second was LeBlanc (51.45) … Augustyn (52.86) placed fourth and Van Volkenburgh (53.08) was fifth.

3-meter Diving: Bulfin dove his way into first with 360.52 points … Lex (359.47), Dunnichay (316.72) and Geary (310.50) were in close pursuit.

200 Individual Medley: Bauman (1:56.22) was second overall with Sullivan (1:56.71) taking fourth.

200 Free Relay: Lytle, David Anderson, Lutkus and Hoffman (1:24.76) powered the Irish to silver honors.
