Notre Dame Basketball & Hockey to Host Toiletry Drive

Will take place Feb. 10 from 4-5:30 p.m.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. The Notre Dame women’s basketball, men’s basketball and hockey teams are holding a toiletry drive benefiting the YWCA of North Central Indiana on Wednesday, Feb. 10 from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Joyce Center. 

The YWCA’s mission is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The YWCA of North Central Indiana serves communities in Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties by providing shelter and safety for distraught women and their young children; by offering educational and job training programming, and by collaborating with others. 

The following items are most needed by the YWCA:

  • Diapers – size newborn to 1
  • Baby wipes
  • Ethnic hair products including shampoo, conditioner and styling products
  • Body wash for women
  • Bath products for children and infants
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper Towels
  • Cleaning products

Fans can drop off their donations at the main entrance of the Joyce Center on the 10th. We ask that you stay in your vehicle and a staff member will collect your items from you. 

All University COVID protocols will be followed including masks, social distancing, etc.
