Notre Dame Announces Winter Sports Gameday Policies

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Please be aware that the Notre Dame Athletics Department, in accordance with University guidelines and in consultation with local health officials, has updated its winter sports event policies for the 2021-22 campaign.

MASK POLICY

All guests will be required to wear masks while attending Fighting Irish winter sport events. We ask that guests help keep the community safe by being fully vaccinated prior to coming to campus.

CONCESSIONS

A variety of non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the concession stands this weekend. No food will be available at this time. Please remember that concession stands do not accept cash and outside food and beverages will not be permitted.

MOBILE TICKETING

To provide a safer environment and enhance the gameday experience, Notre Dame athletics recently announced it will transition to mobile ticketing beginning this fall. Available through the user’s smartphone, mobile ticketing offers a secure, convenient and flexible process while providing a contactless exchange of tickets when entering Notre Dame athletic events. As a part of an ongoing commitment to safety and security, aligning with the best practices at major entertainment and athletics venues, the University of Notre Dame instituted a clear bag policy for all reserve-ticketed events at Notre Dame Stadium,, Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center, and Compton Family Ice Arena.
