Notre Dame, Ind. – Notre Dame men’s basketball coach Mike Brey has teamed with AllCoachNetwork.com and coaches across America to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. A major on-line auction highlights the effort, with one hundred percent of the proceeds going directly to Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that builds homes for low incomes families.
AllCoachNetwork.com will administer the auction in conjunction with Snappy Auctions eBay Drop-off Stores. SnappyAuctions.com will handle all of the listing and shipping of items for auction, which will begin on September 14 on eBay.
There will be three Notre Dame items up for bid in the auction — (1) lunch with Coach Brey and the opportunity to attend an Irish practice, (2) two tickets to the Notre Dame-Syracuse basketball game at the Joyce Center on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 and (3) two tickets to the Notre Dame-Navy football game on November 12, 2005.
