On the game and the season…
“At this point, we have to reflect on the season as a whole, and what this team has accomplished. I think the first half we were very aggressive and caused them some problems getting into their offense. In the second half, Notre Dame did a very good job on both ends of the floor. This was a tremendous environment to play in front of, and the awe of it all definitely got to us. I wish we could play more games in this type of atmosphere.”

On Notre Dame in the second half…
“We had a lot of problems at both ends of the floor in the second half. Our problems offensively, took us out of our rhythm at the defensive end, and this definitely benefited Notre Dame.”

On Notre Dame…
“What great tradition they have at Notre Dame. How much fun it is to play in front of all those people night in and night out, we do not face that often enough and it definitely rattled us tonight.”

On the play of Middle Tennessee tonight…
“We played poorly tonight, especially closing out the first half and the second half with our help side defense, as poor as I have ever seen us play this whole season. Defense is usually where we hang our hat, but tonight we just could not get in the flow.”

On Jacqueline Batteast…
“I wish we could change her jersey over. She is a great player but we in the basketball community have known that for a long time. She had an extremely impressive night. She made tough shots look very easy and had a great night.”
