Men's Tennis To Face Wisconsin

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The 26th-ranked University of Notre Dame men’s tennis team returns to action Tuesday against the No. 39 Wisconsin Badgers at 5:00 (ET) at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison, Wis.

The Irish carry an overall 3-3 record, after being topped (5-2) by No. 14 Duke and sweeping (7-0) Toledo Sunday (Feb. 6) at their dual season home opener at the Eck Tennis Pavilion in Notre Dame, Ind.

SCOUTING THE BADGERS: The Badgers carry a 2-2 record to begin the dual season, downing Butler (7-0) and Wisconsin-Whitewater (7-0), before falling to No. 22 Wake Forest (4-0) and No. 42 Boise State (4-0).

THE ND-WISCONSIN SERIES: The Irish currently lead the all-time series 48-17, winning 18-straight matches from 1992-2008. Head coach Bobby Bayliss carries an 18-6 record against the Badgers.

THE LAST TIME OUT: The Irish last faced the Badgers on May 14, 2010 in the first round of the NCAA Championship. Wisconsin edged Notre Dame, 4-2.
