Notre Dame, Ind. – A limited number of tickets go on sale to the general public Tuesday (Aug. 6) for each of Notre Dame’s home football games in 2002.

The majority of tickets for the games are singles. However, there is a larger quantity available for the Nov. 23 game versus Rutgers based on visiting team returns.

There is a limit of four tickets per game for the Purdue, Michigan, Stanford, Pittsburgh and Boston College games. There is no limit on the Rutgers game.

The sale begins at 9:00 a.m. EST Tuesday both at the Joyce Center Gate 10 ticket windows and via telephone (574-631-7356, with payment via VISA, MasterCard or American Express). Parking will be available in lots south of Notre Dame Stadium – the Joyce Center lots will be closed.

The tickets are $43 each. Notre Dame’s home schedule for 2002 includes games Sept. 7 vs. Purdue, Sept. 14 vs. Michigan, Oct. 5 vs. Stanford, Oct. 12 vs. Pittsburgh, Nov. 2 vs. Boston College and Nov. 23 vs. Rutgers.
