NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Kerry Kemp, who has served as the coordinator of intramural sports at the Ohio State University since August of ’06, has been named the assistant director of intramurals in RecSports at the University of Notre Dame.

In his time with the Buckeyes, Kemp was in charge of the day-to-day administration, coordination and scheduling of all intramural sports programs for the campus community. He was also in charge of developing training clinics to instruct student officials for the various intramural sports offered.

Prior to his time at Ohio State, Kemp worked under the same job title with Keene State College from August ’05-06. He has also filled roles within intramural departments at Eastern Kentucky (January-May ’05), Kentucky (August ’03-May ’05) and Bowling Green State (January ’00-May ’03).

Kemp received his master’s in kinesiology and health promotion, specializing in sport management from Kentucky in May of 2005. He earned a bachelor’s from Bowling Green State University in May of 2003 in interpersonal communication.
