NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Closing out its preseason exhibition slate, the University of Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team will host a collection of professionals competing under the pseudonym ‘Team Atlanta’ at 9 a.m. Sunday inside Loftus Sports Center. Admission is free.

The visiting team is slated to feature standouts such as Hakeem Lecky, Ryan Tucker, Scott Ratliff, Casey Ikeda and Adam Ghittelman. A full roster for Team Atlanta is listed below. The Irish will also host an intra-squad practice for the teams Saturday evening.

Notre Dame welcomed Air Force for a scrimmage last weekend. Both events are designed to provide the Irish fresh competition before opening their official schedule in Atlanta, Georgia at the 2016 Cobb County Classic on Feb. 20.

Organized as a way to promote high-end collegiate lacrosse in the Southeast, the event will feature Notre Dame versus Georgetown. Last season, the Irish also commenced their season with a matchup against the Hoyas, resulting in a 14-12 Notre Dame victory. Georgetown is coming off an improved 2015 season, which resulted in a trip to the BIG EAST Conference championship game.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2016 season. An important note to fans, due to local youth lacrosse event (April 9-10), the ACC showdown on April 10 vs. Duke is already sold out. The only way fans can attend this marquee matchup at Arlotta Stadium is to purchase a season ticket. For more information on season tickets, please visit UND.com.
