Despite being out-hit (.296-.260) and out-blocked (10.0-9.0), the Irish hung tough, pounding out 66 kills to 58 for Seton Hall and tallying a season-high nine service aces to pull away for the four-set victory.

Alugbue led the way with her 10th double-double, but she was not alone as two other Irish student-athletes joined her in double figures. Sophomore Jeni Houser had 14 kills as she hit .407, while senior Hilary Eppink had 15 kills as she hit .382.

The double-double was Brindock’s 10th of the season, while her 51 assists was the fifth time she had reached 50-plus this season. The 21 digs was the seventh time Morey had hit 20-plus in a match in her first year with the Irish.

Notre Dame has now won nine matches in a row, which is the longest streak since the 2009 won 15 in a row.
