Irish inked four Class of 2024 signees

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The Notre Dame volleyball incoming freshman class was ranked 10th nationally by PrepVolleyball.com, it was announced Friday (May 8).

The Irish landed four recruits to compile their Class of 2024, including a trio of PrepVolleyball.com High School All-Americans in Aubrey Hamilton, Lindsey Miller & Hattie Monson.

Monson was also tabbed a First Team All-American by VolleyballMag.com and Hamilton was named Wisconsin’s Gatorade Player of the Year while Miller was selected to compete in the 2019 Under Armour All-America Match.

Charity McDowell, a 2019 Indiana All-State honoree, rounds out Notre Dame’s incoming freshman class.

“This is a group that we are really excited about,” said Irish head coach Mike Johnson. “While we don’t concern ourselves much with rankings that are out of our control, this serves as validation of what we already believe – that this group and this team as a whole is capable of playing at the very highest level. I’m thankful for the work of our entire staff and all those involved with helping to secure this class.  This was a team effort.  We are looking forward to getting to work.”
