The Irish will be in Columbus, Ohio, for three days of competition against a national field.

Irish To Compete At U.S. Short Course Nationals

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – After three weeks of rest and practice, the Notre Dame women’s swimming team now heads to Columbus, Ohio, for the U.S. Short Course Nationals (Dec. 2-4) held at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Live results for the biggest USA Swimming event of the winter season will be available all three days at UND.com.

Tickets are available at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. An all-session pass for adults is $50 and $35 for children and students with a valid college identification card. Day passes, good for both the prelim and final sessions, are $15 and $10, respectively.

The championship-format meet starts each morning at 9:00 a.m. (ET) with preliminary races as the finals will begin each evening at 5:00 p.m.

Notre Dame’s divers will be in action at the Hawkeye Invitational (Dec. 3-5) in Iowa City, Iowa.

In its last competitive meet, Notre Dame (2-3) won 12 events Nov. 12 during a 118.5-112.5 win over visiting Utah. The Irish are currently receiving votes in the latest CollegeSwimming.com Top 25 dual meet poll.

After the U.S. Nationals, Notre Dame will travel to Hawaii for two weeks of training beginning in late December. The team is also slated to swim a dual meet against the University of Hawaii.
