Irish Take Home Fourth at NCAA National Championship

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Notre Dame Fighting Irish wrapped up their 2023 cross country season at the NCAA National Championship hosted in Charlottesville, VA on Saturday, Nov. 18.

The women’s team took home a fourth place finish as they were led by Olivia Markezich, who took home a third place overall finish for the Irish with a time of 19:10.0 in the 6k. She was followed by her sister, Andrea Markezich, who ran a 20:05.4 and finished 35th. Erin Strzelecki finished 37th with a time of 20:06.2.

O. Markezich, A. Markezich, and Strzelecki were all named NCAA All-Americans.
