NOTRE DAME, Ind. — One-hundred and fifty-three days have passed since the University of Notre Dame women’s lacrosse team has taken the field at Arlotta Stadium. On Saturday, the team will face off against Stanford in its first home fall ball scrimmage of the season.

Riding one of the program’s best campaigns, which featured the school’s third-most wins (14), the Irish are scheduled to host two days of scrimmages featuring the likes of Stanford, Michigan and Northwestern.

Notre Dame’s 2017 roster includes eight seniors and 11 freshmen, including two Under Armour All-Americans. Despite losing much talent in last year’s graduating class, newly-elected senior captains Alex Dalton, Katherine Eilers, Cortney Fortunato and Casey Pearsall are prepared to fill the leadership role.

The Irish are scheduled to host the Cardinal on Saturday, October 15 at 1 p.m. ET at Arlotta Stadium, followed by scrimmages versus Michigan and Northwestern on Sunday. A complete schedule for the weekend is below. Admission is free and open to the public.
