ANOTHER IN-STATE MATCHUP – Notre Dame (28-8) will play its third of four televised games in a span of 13 days, taking on IPFW at Eck Stadium on Wed., April 19 (5:05 EDT) … the gme will be telecast by Comcast Local live in Michigan, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Muncie and South Bend (on Comcast channel 3) – in addition to being aired by Comcast Sports Net Chicago on a delayed basis on April 20 at 7:00 p.m. EDT … ND owns a 46-9 record (.836) vs. fellow Indiana-based schools during the 12-year Paul Mainieri era … the Irish are riding an 18-game winning streak (tying the school record and matching the longest D-I win streak this season) and have gone 26-3 since a challenging first two weeks of the season (2-5) … sophomore LHP David Gruener will be the first Irish pitcher vs. the Mastadons.
