Irish Finish Second In Hoosier Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Staying in Indiana, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish concluded their regular season as they competed in the Hoosier Invitational, hosted at the Pfau Course at Indiana University. 

Taking home their fourth top-three finish this spring season, Notre Dame finished T-2nd with a score of 884 (+32). 

 

The Irish were led by graduate student Palmer Jackson, who secured a T-4th finish and shot a 216 (+3) on the event. Jackson had an impressive second round, shooting a tournament low 66 (-5) with five birdies and one eagle in round two. 

He was followed by sophomore Nate Stevens, who finished 12th with a final score of 221 (+8). Freshmen Christopher Bagnall and Jacob Modleski also finished in the top 25 as they each shot a 224 (+11) in the tournament. 

Notre Dame is back in action on April 18 as they compete in the ACC Championship at the Charlotte Country Club.
