BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Nick Nemetz placed 12th among 49 divers in the 1-meter event of NCAA Zone C Diving Championships action Friday at Indiana University’s Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center. Nemetz jumped ahead five spots from his preliminary showing of 290.80 to wrap up the meet for Notre Dame.
Nemetz stood in 17th place heading into the finals before finishing the day with 621.95 points.
Indiana’s Zachary Nees won the event in his home pool with 761.75 points.
Michael Kreft racked up 262.50 points in the preliminary session to place 30th. One spot behind Kreft was Ryan Koter, who accumulated 261.35 points.
Ted Wagner finished the day in 38th place with 252.05 points.
