Irish Complete Weekend Of Match Play At NC State

The University of Notre Dame women’s golf team completed its final tune up before the 2022 ACC Championships in the Wolfpack Match Play event at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, North Carolina on April 3-5.

The Irish competed against South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Duke in the three-day event. In the quarterfinals against the Gamecocks, Notre Dame fell 4-0-1 with Caroline Wrigley earning the tie. During the semifinals against Virginia Tech Montgomery Ferreira earned a 3-and-2 victory and followed up with a tie against Duke in the finals.

The ACC Championship begins April 14-17 at The Reserve Golf Cours in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina.
