Irish Complete Third Undefeated Home Season in Program History

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Due to inclement weather, the series finale between Notre Dame and Boston College, slated for Sunday, May 9, has been canceled. The Irish win the series 3-0 to close out the regular season.

Notre Dame (31-12, 20-10 ACC) completes an undefeated home season in 2021, going 15-0 at Melissa Cook Stadium. It marks just the third undefeated home season in program history, with the Irish also achieving the feat in 2001 (18-0) and 2010 (19-0). Notre Dame has won 19-consecutive games at home, a streak beginning on April 13, 2019.

2021 marks the 32nd 30-win season in program history, which includes every season of the program’s existence with the exception of the shortened 2020 season.

The Irish head into the postseason on a 14-game win streak, their longest since a 19-game stint in 2016 (Feb. 20 – March 22).

First up in the postseason is the ACC Tournament, which will run May 12-15. The Irish will play the tournament as the No. 5 seed, and all games will take place in Louisville, Kentucky at Don Dobina Field at Ulmer Stadium.
