NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame baseball team released its 2018 promotional schedule on Monday, announcing the team’s plans for the upcoming home slate at Frank Eck Stadium.
As in previous seasons, the Irish will feature weekly promotions, including popcorn Tuesdays, dollar dog Wednesdays and free shirt Fridays. On Saturdays, kids will have the opportunity to receive autographs from their favorite Notre Dame baseball players. Young Irish fans can run the bases following all games on Saturdays and Sundays this season.
Several theme days highlight the 2018 schedule, beginning with Camper Reunion Night on March 23-24 during Notre Dame’s first home Atlantic Coast Conference weekend series versus Wake Forest.
In anticipation of Easter weekend, Notre Dame will host an Easter egg hunt following its game against Wake Forest at 11:30 a.m. ET on March 25.
Throughout the entire Clemson series (April 6-8), the Irish will celebrate Military Appreciation Weekend, when all active military members and veterans receive free admission to the ballpark.
First Responders’ Weekend is scheduled for April 20-22, when all first responders will be granted free admission to see the Irish take on Virginia Tech.
Notre Dame will host its inaugural Pete Frates FUNd RUN on April 28 during the Boston College weekend series. The Irish invite fans to help them raise money for the Pete Frates #3 Fund while celebrating Pete Frates, a former Boston College baseball captain under current Irish head coach Mik Aoki.
In addition to the FUNd RUN, Notre Dame will hold Student Night and Faculty/Staff Appreciation (April 27) and Boy Scout Day (April 29) when the Eagles are in town.
Notre Dame closes the home schedule with three games against Pittsburgh (May 4-6), when it will celebrate Nurse Appreciation Week.
The Irish close the season with a celebration of the team’s four seniors with their Senior Day on May 5.

Megan Golden, athletics communications assistant director at the University of Notre Dame, has been part of the Fighting Irish athletics communications team since August of 2016. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Golden is a 2014 graduate of Saint Mary’s College and former Irish women’s basketball manager.
