Sept. 27, 2004

The Notre Dame baseball team has adjusted its intrasquad scrimmage schedule, which now will include just one nine-inning game to be played Thursday, Sept. 30, starting at 4:00 p.m. Admission to this Blue-Gold Championship game is open to the public – as are the outdoor portions of the team’s remaining outdoor practices (Sept. 27-29 and Oct. 1).

Notre Dame third-year assistant coach David Grewe has been a busy man in recent days but he will be providing comments on the fall progress of the Irish position players (look for his practice report later today on und.com). Second-year pitching coach Terry Rooney also will offer his insight into the fall development of the Notre Dame pitching staff. Several other fall baseball offerings are on the way so be sure to check back to und.com over the next few days for additional updates.
