NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame and University of South Florida football programs have announced a future home-and-home series in 2029 and 2031.
The first installment of the series will take place Saturday, Sept. 15, 2029, in Tampa, Florida. The two teams will conclude the series on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2031, at Notre Dame Stadium.
The series history between the two squads is tied at one win apiece, with USF winning the inaugural meeting 23-20 (September 3, 2011) and Notre Dame emerging victorious in the most recent matchup, a 52-0 shutout at Notre Dame Stadium in 2020..
The upcoming game slated for 2029 will be the first meeting of the two teams outside of Notre Dame Stadium.
