Coach Weis will announce the 2009 recruiting class at 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Feb. 4. Inside Notre Dame Football - Signing Day will begin immediately following the press conference.

Inside Notre Dame Football Will Have Signing Day Edition

Feb. 2, 2009

Und.com should be your destination if exclusive coverage of football signing day at the University of Notre Dame is what you want.

Notre Dame’s official athletics web site, und.com, will stream a signing-day edition of Inside Notre Dame Football, presented by Comcast, beginning live at 1:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Feb. 4.

The show will kick off with head coach Charlie Weis’ official signing day press conference, in which he will detail each of the individuals who sign letters of intent with the Irish in 2009.

Weis will take questions from the media as part of that conference, and as he talks about each signee you will see exclusive game-action video of each player.

Once Weis ends his formal press conference, Inside Notre Dame Football will continue live from the second-floor recruiting lounge in the Guglielmino Athletics Complex for several more hours.

Jeff Jeffers will anchor the show, while former Irish football standouts Reggie Brooks and Mirko Jurkovic will provide expert analysis.

Among the excusive live guests for the second half of the show will be Weis, Irish recruiting coordinator Rob Ianello and other members of the Irish coaching staff.

A new wrinkle this year will be a minute-by-minute, live blog from inside the Notre Dame recruiting headquarters.

You’ll read updates from the crack of dawn when the Irish coaches arrive in the office, to postings every time another signee is certified through facsimile versions of the letter of intent. There’ll be a timeline of the events of the day, including an inside look at what happens in the Notre Dame football office along the way.

Other signing day elements you can find on und.com will include:

 • Full printed biographies on the entire class, posted at 1:00 p.m. EST.
 • Separate video pieces for each signee, including game highlights combined with Weis’ comments about him (those will be posted later in the day, after the conclusion of the formal press conference).
