NOTRE DAME, Ind. – University of Notre Dame volleyball fans anxious to watch the new-look Irish under national-championship winning head coach Jim McLaughlin will have several opportunities in 2015 through various online platforms announced recently by the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

Seven matches – four home and three away – are set for broadcast live on ESPN3/WatchESPN (espn.com/watchespn). The total is up from three a year ago.

The other nine home contests will be streamed on WatchND, Notre Dame’s official live event and video channel (watchnd.tv).

Viewing options for addition Notre Dame volleyball road matches not covered under the ACC broadcast schedule will be released as they are announced.

McLaughlin enters his first season at Notre Dame after 25 previous years as a head coach at Southern California (men), Kansas State (women) and most recently Washington (women). He owns two national championships – one with USC in 1989-90 and one with Washington in 2005.

An assistant coach at Notre Dame in 1996, McLaughlin returns seven Monogram winners from last year’s squad and welcomes in six freshmen and a senior to make up a squad of 14 that reports to campus August 10 in preparation for the season-opening Blue Raider Bash in Murfreesboro, Tennessee August 29-30. There the Irish will meet Bowling Green, Cleveland State and the host Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders.
