The University of Notre Dame has announced kickoff times for its six home football games for the 2005 season:

Nov. 12, NAVY, 1:00 p.m. EST, NBC national

Nov. 19, SYRACUSE, 3:00 p.m. EST, NBC national

NBC Sports will televise all six home games nationally from Notre Dame Stadium.

Michigan State, USC, BYU and Navy all last played at Notre Dame in 2003. Tennessee will be making its first trip to South Bend since 2001 and its fourth overall. Syracuse will be playing at Notre Dame Stadium for the first time since 1961 – its only previous visit to South Bend. Four of the’05 visitors to Notre Dame Stadium played in postseason bowl games following the 2004 season – USC (Orange Bowl), Tennessee (Cotton), Navy (Emerald) and Syracuse (Champs Sports). Road opponents who played in bowl games a year ago included Pittsburgh (Fiesta), Michigan (Rose) and Purdue (Sun).
