Earlier this month at the College Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremonies, 1964 Heisman Trophy winner John Huarte became the 41st Notre Dame player to be placed into the collegiate football hall of fame. The Irish lead all other schools in that category – and also boast five former coaches in the hallowed halls of the building in downtown South Bend.
