Kathy Maloney is the office assistant for the Stadium and Grounds Department. She has been an administrative assistant at various offices at Notre Dame since 1994.
Prior to working at Notre Dame, Maloney was an investment representative and administrative assistant at 1st Source Bank from 1978-1994. When she first started at Notre Dame, Maloney worked in Notre Dame Athletics from 1994-2004 as an administrative assistant within the Finance and Facilities department. She moved to the Alumni Association department in 2004, and assumed her role within the Stadium and Grounds department in 2012.
Maloney graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind., with a B.A. in English Literature in 1976.
Maloney and her husband Anthony (a Notre Dame 1974 and 1976 MS graduate) have two children, Anthony Jr., a 2004 Notre Dame graduate, and Megan, who graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2009 with an athletic training degree. Megan also achieved her Masters of Science degree from the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind. in 2013.
Maloney resides in Mishawaka, Ind., and in her spare time enjoys volunteering at various organizations in the greater South Bend area, in particular the Audobon Society (where she participates in the St. Joseph county Bird Counts program).
