Elisa Angeles is in her 10th year at the University of Notre Dame, where she is responsible for the strength and conditioning programs for the Fighting Irish women’s soccer and women’s swimming & diving teams. She also coordinates the strength & conditioning department’s college internship program, and assists the director with scheduling and budget monitoring. Angeles served as an assistant director for the Irish from 2008-2010 and as an assistant coach from 2006-2008.

Prior to arriving at Notre Dame, Angeles spent three years at Iowa State University, two years as a full-time assistant and one as a graduate assistant studying Higher Education-Leadership & Learning. While there, she worked directly for the Cyclones’ women’s soccer, swimming, diving, track, golf, tennis and softball programs while assisting with all other Olympic sport programs.

Angeles used up her collegiate athletic eligibility at Ball State University as a four year letter-winner on the women’s soccer team. She majored in Exercise Science and minored in Athletic Training while at Ball State.

Angeles is certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA), the United States Weightlifting Federation (USWL1), the National Strength Coaches Association (CSCS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA Level 1). Additionally, she is a member of the National Association of Women Athletic Administrators (NACWAA) and participated in the Sport Management Institute (SMI) in the 2013-14 class.
