Carol Copley, who started working at the University of Notre Dame in 1994, is the senior staff assistant in the media relations department.
When Copley arrived at Notre Dame she started in the financial aid office until 1999 when she moved to her current position. Prior to arriving at Notre Dame, Copley worked as an inside sales coordinator for international and domestic airfreight with Continental Airlines in Houston, Texas. Additionally, while in Texas, Copley worked with Panalpina, ocean and airfreight forwarder, as an assistant to the sales manager. Before Copley moved to Texas, she sold and listed homes as a licensed real estate professional.
Copley is married to Chuck Copley and the couple currently reside in Osceola, Ind. Copley has two children, Joy who graduated from Indiana University Bloomington, and Jay who graduated from the University of Notre Dame. Copley is a professional singer and started singing at the age of seven. Copley performs with a five-piece classic rock band, which performs throughout the Michiana area.
