Jeanne Checkley is in fifth year as the assistant business coordinator for the new Compton Family Ice Arena at Notre Dame, having moved into that role after serving as an office assistant for Notre Dame athletics since 2003 and continuing a relationship with the University that began in November 1993.
Prior to Compton Family Ice Arena, Checkley spent time working with several of Notre Dame’s varsity sports, focusing on the men’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, track and field, and cheerleading squads. Prior to that, she worked in Notre Dame athletics ticket office from January 1995 to September 2003. Checkley also worked in the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore from 1993 until she started working in the ticket office.
A native of the South Bend/Mishawaka area, Checkley received her associate’s degree in business management from Lake Michigan College.
Checkley and her husband Tim have one daughter, Emma Kathryn, and reside in Mishawaka, Indiana.
