PARK FOREST, Ill. – Former Notre Dame football monogram winner Henry “Rusty” Wilke died on Feb. 21 in Park Forest, Ill. He suited up for the Irish and played under both Terry Brennan and Joe Kuharich.

Wilke, 69, is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Jeffries); four children, Valerie (David), Amy (Mark), Brian (Jill), and Emily (Darryl); eight grandchildren, Bennett, Reilly, Liam, Reid, Sage, Mackenzie, Sheriden, and Jalen; three sisters, Marietta, Evelyn and Rita; two brothers, Cliff and Roger; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Don, and his parents, Harry and Minnie. He was a graduate of Notre Dame University and President of Central Infra-Red Systems, lnc.

The family will receive friends at Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematory, 50 Westwood Dr, just west of Western off Norwood, Park Forest, IL, Saturday, March 1 from 2:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m.
