The University of Notre Dame football team is in the midst of its first and only bye week of the 2006 season. On Tuesday, head coach Charlie Weis held a press conference during which he analyzed thet team’s statistics compared to this time last season and also spoke about the release of his book No Excuses, his recruiting philosphy and a meeting he had with University President Emeritus Fr. Theodore Hesburgh during his time as a student at Notre Dame.
