Notre Dame head football coach Charlie Weis took time to meet with the media today at the Guglielmino Athletics Complex in his traditional Tuesday press conference to preview the Washington State Game. The Irish took to the practice field as they prepair to take on the Cougars of Washington State this Saturday in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Watch as the Irish running back and wide recievers go through drills during this Tuesday practice before the Washington State game.

This meeting will be the second all-time meeting between the Irish and the Cougars. Notre Dame captured the only other matchup, 29-26, in overtime in 2003.
This also marks the first time since 2003 that the Fighting Irish are playing indoors in the regular season. The Irish and Syracuse squared off in the Carrier Dome in 2003 dropping the contest 38-12. The Irish have played indoors on five occasions, in 1984 the Irish and Purdue took to the field of the brand new Hoosier Dome in Indianpolis for the dedication game, in 1981 Georgia nipped the Irish 17-10 in the Sugar Bowl, then squaring off against Oregon State at Bank One Ball Park in the 2004 Insight Bowl and at Louisiana Superdome for the 1992 (vs. Florida), and 2007 (vs. LSU) Sugar Bowls.
