Notre Dame, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame has added Syracuse as a 12th game to its football schedule in 2003.
That is the first year all college teams will be allowed to add another game, while all preseason games that are commonly played now will be eliminated.
The Irish are tentatively set to play at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, N.Y., on Nov. 22, 2003, for its first meeting with Syracuse since 1963. Notre Dame is 2-1 against the Orangemen all time.
