Complete List of the USILA All-America Honorees 
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Five members of the Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team received All-America honors as the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the accolades on Thursday. Zach Brenneman (Jr., M), David Earl (Jr., M), Grant Krebs (Sr., M), Kevin Ridgway (Jr., D) and Scott Rodgers (Sr., G) all were honorable mention picks.
The five All-America selections matched a program record that also was achieved in 2001, 2007 and 2009. The Fighting Irish (9-6) will face No. 7 Cornell on Saturday in the NCAA Championship semifinals in Baltimore, Md.
Brenneman (East Hampton, N.Y./East Hampton) has a team-best 36 points on 23 goals and 13 assists. His 23 tallies tie him for the team lead in that category. The junior has registered four hat tricks this season. This is the first All-America honor for Brenneman, who was named to the all-BIG EAST first team earlier this month.
Earl (Simsbury, Conn./Westminster School) has deposited 21 goals this season. He tallied a career-high five goals in an 8-5 triumph of Princeton on May 16 in the first round of the NCAA Championship. That was his third game this season with at least three goals. This marks the first All-America nod for Earl, who was a second-team all-BIG EAST selection this season.
Krebs (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary’s) is tied for the team lead in goals with 23. He has scored at least 20 goals in each of the past three seasons. His four hat tricks this season tie him for the team lead. The senior midfielder has scored a goal in eight straight contests, which is a team-best streak. He also received honorable mention All-America honors last season. Krebs copped second-team all-BIG EAST honors this season.
Ridgway (Kensington, Md./Georgetown Prep) has helped anchor a Fighting Irish defense that ranks second nationally by allowing 7.67 goals per game. Notre Dame has surrendered just 10 goals during the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. The five goals scored by Princeton and Maryland in the first and second rounds, respectively, are the fewest allowed by a Notre Dame team in an NCAA Tournament contest. This is the first such accolade for Ridgway. The junior defenseman was a second-team all-BIG EAST pick this season.
Rodgers (Wantagh, N.Y./MacArthur) ranks third nationally in goals-against average (7.74) and he is sixth in save percentage (.586). The fifth-year senior is 8-4 this season and has come up big in the first two rounds of the NCAA Championship with a combined 22 saves. Rodgers copped third-team All-America honors in 2009. He was named to the all-BIG EAST second team this season.
The Fighting Irish men’s lacrosse program has produced at least one All-America honoree in every season dating back to 1993, a string of 18 years. Notre Dame’s 27 All-Americans have combined for 46 All-America honors.
