UND.com is debuting another of its new interactive features for the 2010-11 season, with its Fighting Irish Fan Chats. Each week, UND.com will sit down for a live chat session with student-athletes, coaches and administrators making news in the world of Fighting Irish athletics. Fans are invited to join in and offer questions or comments for our guests, and if you can’t join us live, each chat will be archived so you can return to UND.com at your convenience and read what your favorite Notre Dame athletic personalities have to say on a variety of topics.
This week, UND.com offered two very special live chats, as the official Notre Dame athletics web site went “on location” to New York City for the 2010-11 BIG EAST Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Media Days.
On Oct. 21, the BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Media Day was held at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill at the “Crossroads of the World”, New York’s Times Square. Representing Notre Dame at this year’s event were head coach Muffet McGraw and sophomore guard Skylar Diggins (South Bend, Ind./Washington) — both sat down for interviews with the print and broadcast media, but more importantly, they were live here at UND.com and took your questions during the course of the media day activities.
