NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Notre Dame and Utah will face each other in a women’s swimming and diving dual meet Friday afternoon at the Rolfs Aquatic Center. The meet will begin at 5:00 p.m. (ET) with live results available at UND.com.
This will be the last dual meet of the fall season as Notre Dame will close the 2010 portion of the schedule at the U.S. Nationals (Dec. 2-4) in Columbus, Ohio.
Notre Dame (1-3) is fresh off a 155-145 loss to Purdue last week, a meet that came down to the final relay. Despite the outcome, the Irish are receiving votes in the latest CollegeSwimming.com dual meet poll.
Katie Casey (100 fly, 200 fly) and Samantha Maxwell (100 breast, 200 breast) each notched a pair of wins to lead the Irish against the Boilermakers.
The lone dual meet between the Utes and Fighting Irish on came Oct. 16, 1993, in the Utes’ home pool. Notre Dame won the contest by a 142-92 margin.
