SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The awards keep coming for Notre Dame women’s lacrosse’s MK Doherty who adds to her accolades with the ACC Offensive Player of the Week award. This award comes following her career performances at Brown and Boston College last week which included 10 points, seven goals, and 14 draw controls, and also earned her USA Lacrosse and IWLCA recognition Tuesday afternoon.
The senior from Summit, New Jersey, recorded both game winning goals for the Irish during their spring break East Coast trip, picking up victories at then-No. 23 Brown and No. 2 Boston College to improve to 7-2 on the season.
In addition to her game winners, Doherty recorded two hat tricks and set a career-high four goal outing at ACC foe Boston College. Prior to that, the midfielder came one point shy of her career best point total when her three goals and three assists lifted the Irish to victory at Brown.
