SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Graduate student goaltender Bridget Deehan has been named the ACC’s Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced Tuesday afternoon (March 8).
Deehan anchored the Irish defense in Notre Dame’s 12-10 win on Sunday (March 6) versus #13 Virginia. The Milton, Georgia, native recorded a career-high 16 saves, nine of which came in the first half to preserve an Irish lead.
