Bio

Greg Silber is in his third year with the Notre Dame volleyball program. He spent the first two years as a volunteer coach with the Irish. Silber served as president of the Notre Dame men[apos]s volleyball club team in 2001-02, after starting at opposite for the team last season and earning the team MVP honor. He also served as the team[apos]s secretary and webmaster in 2001-02.

A 1998 graduate of Moeller High School in Cinncinnati, Ohio, Silber was a member of the 1997 and 1998 Moeller state championship volleyball team. A three-year starter for Moeller, Silber was named the state tournament MVP in 1998 while earning second-team all-state honors.

Silber played club volleyball for the Cinncinnati Attack. As the team[apos]s setter, he helped the Attack finish third at the 1997 Asics Junior Nationals in Chicago and also participated in the 1997 Junior Naitonal Championship in Dallas, Texas.

Born July 21, 1980, in Cinncinnati, Ohio, Silber graduated from Notre Dame in 2002 with a degree in management information systems in the Mendoza College of Business.
