Notre Dame, Ind. – The Chicago Blackhawks have announced that the team will return to the campus of the University of Notre Dame to open their 2014-15 training camp. For the second straight year, all Blackhawks practices will be held at the Compton Family Ice Arena with the camp set to begin on Friday, Sept. 19 and run through Sunday, Sept. 21.
The Blackhawks will then return to Chicago for their annual Training Camp Festival on Monday, Sept. 22.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to return to Notre Dame and their world-class facility,” said Blackhawks Vice President and General Manager Stan Bowman. “We received an overwhelming positive response from our players and staff on their experience at Notre Dame last September and are looking forward to another great weekend to kick off training camp next season.”
A complete training camp schedule, including Notre Dame ticket information, will be released at a later date.
