NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Tickets for the 2012 Konica Minolta Big City Classic will go on sale through the Notre Dame ticket office beginning 9:00 a.m. (ET) on Monday. The Fighting Irish men’s lacrosse team will face BIG EAST foe St. John’s in the April 1 event at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Face-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (ET).
The Notre Dame-St. John’s game will be the first of a tripleheader that day. Duke and Syracuse will meet in the day’s second contest, while North Carolina and Johns Hopkins will square off in the third and final game at MefLife Stadium, which is home to the NFL’s New York Giants and New York Jets. This will be Notre Dame’s first-ever appearance in the Big City Classic.
Purchasing a ticket through Notre Dame will ensure fans a spot in the Fighting Irish section of MetLife Stadium. Tickets are $25 and orders will ONLY be taken over the phone by calling 574-631-7356. Sales end March 14. One ticket will allow you to see all three games that day.
