SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame baseball team is back on the diamond for fall practices and are gearing up for a scrimmage heading into the weekend. Notre Dame will square off with Toledo on Friday, Oct. 1 at Frank Eck Stadium.
The Rockets and Irish will play two seven-innings games with the first game starting at 6 p.m. ET. There will be no stream of the game but the event is free and open to the public.
Head coach Link Jarrett returns 26 players from the 2021 squad that won the ACC Atlantic Division for the first time in program history and reached the Super Regionals for the first time since 2002. 18 newcomers join the squad this season including 14 freshmen and four transfers.
