NOTRE DAME, Ind. – University of Notre Dame standout Greg Andrews won titles in singles and doubles this weekend at an ITA Summer Circuit event at the Courtney Tennis Center and the Eck Tennis Pavilion.

The Richland, Mich., native won all six singles matches in straight sets, including a 6-4, 6-2 win over Indiana’s Dimitrije Tasic in the finals.

In doubles Andrews partnered with a familiar face in Irish teammate Nicolas Montoya, as the duo dominated the competition on the way to the title.

Elsewhere in singles, sophomore Alex Lawson turned in an impressive tournament as he advanced to the semifinals before having to retire while competing against Tasic. Montoya advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to Andrews and incoming freshman Eddy Covalschi did the same before losing to Tasic.
