Joined by National Baseball Hall of Famer Craig Biggio, the 2015 University of Notre Dame baseball team held its annual Meet the Team Dinner last Monday evening in Club Naimoli at Joyce Center. Nearly 250 Irish baseball fans packed Club Naimoli to hear the seven-time Major League Baseball All-Star speak in addition to meeting the 2015 Irish baseball squad that gets their season going in 10 days in Norman, Oklahoma.

Fans saw this awesome highlight mix from the 2014 season. Spotted in the video among other awesome plays was a Sportscenter Top-10 play at first base by Phil Mosey and a walk-off homer to end the season by Ryan Bull.
After a meal, senior Conor Biggio teamed with baseball play-by-play man Chuck Freeby to interview his dad, Craig Biggio.

Some interesting facts were learned.
Funny that a MLB team gave Craig Biggio a rating of 3 as a hitter on Cape .. 3!? .. They were right .. One for every 1000 MLB hits #HOF2015
