Monogram Club Football Application
The Monogram Club football application will be sent to all dues-paying members. The deadline for 2008 dues payments was December 31, 2007. While the Monogram Club football ticket application does not provide members with guaranteed tickets to all home games, it does provide dues-paying members with significantly higher win rates than the regular alumni lottery.
Grouping Applications
The Monogram Club application does have a priority status within the greater lottery system but keep in mind that grouping ticket applications may greatly reduce your chance of winning tickets on a game-by-game basis. The football ticket lottery has seen record setting demand each of the last three years. In an effort to maximize your odds of winning tickets in the lottery and due to the negative impact that group seating has on those odds, mixed group applications will no longer be accepted. Group seating requests are only available from the same type of application. (For example: Alumni with a Alumni application, Monogram with a Monogram). We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Receiving Multiple Applications
In order to receive a regular alumni football application in addition to your Monogram Club application, you must make the minimum contribution required by BOTH the University and the Monogram Club. However, you can earmark your University contribution to benefit Monogram Club-specific programs such as the Brennan-Boland-Riehle Scholarship Fund or the Catastrophic Relief Fund.
Application Deadline
Be sure your completed football application is received by the ticket office on or before THURSDAY MAY 15, 2008. The ticket office will not accept applications after this deadline.
Use of Tickets
A long-standing policy of the Monogram Club is that Monogram Club ticket privileges are for personal and family use only. In a review of our ticket history, it is evident that some Monogram members order tickets for more games than they actually attend. Please be considerate of all Monogram Club members who wish to purchase tickets by only ordering tickets for the games you or a family member can personally attend. Your cooperation will enable more Monogram members to attend games of their choice. Violators of this policy run the risk of losing their ticket privileges. Likewise, the Athletic Department does not condone the practice of reselling athletic tickets above face value. Since this policy was established, the University has revoked over 7,500 ticket privileges.
Monogram Club Receptions
To continue a Monogram Club tradition, we are currently making plans to host pregame receptions for the 2008 home football season. Look for more information about location and registration this summer.
Pregame Tunnels
Mark your calendar! The Monogram Club pregame, on-field tunnel for former football players will be during the Notre Dame vs. Michigan game on Saturday, September 13, 2008. The tunnel for all dues-paying Monogram winners is scheduled for the Notre Dame vs. Syracuse game on Saturday, November 22, 2008.
